Seeking Board Members

Dear Meadow Hills Estates Homeowners,

It is time to vote on members of the Board of Directors for the Meadow Hills Estates Homeowners Association. Two seats held by Connie Brooks and Doug Webb are currently open for a second three-year term and the third seat is for two years is open as Patrick Smith moved.

Please consider running for the Board.

The obligations involve one meeting a month, either in person or by Zoom. The Board has tried to meet in-person to facilitate communication and collegial relationships. Jill Taylor has graciously opened her home to the meetings.

The Board has selected December 8, 2026 at 7:00 pm for the Annual Meeting. It will be held at the Golf Course with two-tickets for drinks.

We will be seeking opinions regarding community safety, including merits of a license plate reader system, and amendments to the HOA covenants to address short-term rentals. The change from traditional group homes to half-way houses and other multi-residential models compels the Board to again examine how to preserve the single-family residential objectives within federal and state regulations.
